HANDS THAT BUILD

A reflection on skill, service and ordinary courage.

LEARNING THE TRADE

The first day in a new trade often starts with more questions than answers.

Skill grows through practice, guidance and the willingness to be corrected.

PASSING IT ON

One of the most meaningful parts of being good at something is helping somebody else become good at it.

Patience with an apprentice can shape a career.

THE WORK CONTINUES

There is always another problem to solve, another lesson to learn and another person who needs a helping hand.

Keep building — with skill, humility and purpose.
